PE and Sport Premium Funding
The PE and Sport Premium is government funding provided to eligible primary schools to help improve the quality of PE, sport and physical activity for pupils. Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the provision they already offer.
This page includes Lindhead School’s completed 2024–25 PE and Sport Premium report. The report explains how the funding was used during the academic year, the impact it had on pupils’ participation and opportunities, how improvements will be sustained, and the school’s Year 6 swimming and water safety outcomes.
For the academic year 2025–26, Lindhead School has received £17,880 in PE and Sport Premium funding. The completed report for this funding period will be published by the statutory deadline of 31 July 2026, once the school has evaluated the full-year impact of the spending.
The governing board reviews the school’s use of PE and Sport Premium funding and holds leaders to account for how the funding is used to support pupils’ physical activity, participation in sport, and wider wellbeing.
