Our strategic plan for mental health and wellbeing is based upon the 8-point model taken from “Promoting children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing: A whole school or college approach” Public Health England working with the Department for Education (September 2021); which describes 8 principles of a whole school or college approach to promoting mental health and wellbeing which, if applied consistently and comprehensively, will help contribute towards protecting and promoting children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
