Lindhead School

Learning, Caring & Growing Together

Lindhead's 2024-25 Curriculum

Introduction and Policy

School's must publish the content of the school curriculum in each academic year for every subject - this includes mandatory subjects such as religious education, even if it is taught as part of another subject or subjects, or is called something else.

Parents, or other members of the public,  can find out more about the curriculum our school follows through the pages on this website or by contacting school.

Our curriculum plans are all in the pages within the '2024-25 Curriculum' menu (accessible from the top of the home page) and a variety of documents can be viewed and/or downloaded.

Schools must also publish the names of any phonics or reading schemes they are using in key stage 1: At Lindhead we use Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised.

In other pages in the '2024-25 Curriculum' menu, you can find information out about our phonics and reading schemes, curriculum progression documents for all subjects, as well as more information about Early Years education and how we teach Maths and English at Lindhead.

We have separate pages of the website for accessibility plans and Special Education Needs and Disabilities. Our 'Curriculum Policy' document is also at the bottom of this page for you to view or download.

Please do contact school if you would like to know more about our curriculum or any other aspect of school life. Details can be found in the 'contact' page.

Our curriculum at Lindhead and everything that we do in school is designed to help us meet our vision of successfully “Learning, Caring and Growing Together”.  Our Busy Buzzy Bee’s curriculum (3B’s) prioritises the need for children to develop their strength of character and become well-rounded ‘Happy Bee’ individuals.
